The new Durham operation complements the existing office locations in the cathedral cities of Norwich, Edinburgh and Lincoln.
Delta-Simons already has an established customer base in the north east and has delivered a diverse range of consultancy services across the north of England from supporting independent developers, through a variety of school sites, to large scale developments including major residential development schemes in Tees-side, Darlington, North Tyneside and Hartlepool alongside multi-million pound mixed use commercial, residential and retail schemes in North Yorkshire and Tees-side.
The new office opening is a significant step for Delta-Simons, symbolically marking the first investment in geographical expansion since 2008.
Gareth Pickles, Managing Director at Delta-Simons comments;
“We are delighted to have opened our fourth office in the heart of Durham city. It satisfies our continued strategic objective for wider geographical presence for the Delta-Simons brand, enabling us to raise profile regionally and appeal to customers and quality staff who we may never reach from the Lincoln HQ.
Like Lincoln, Norwich and Edinburgh, Durham is a beautiful cathedral city and fits perfectly into the growing office locations we have chosen around the country – selected for being great places for business and nice places for our staff to live and work.”
The Durham office is led by Geo-Environmental Consultant, Kevin McGee, who has been working in the North East for Delta-Simons since 2008. The office will primarily deliver geo-environmental site investigation services to regional property developers, consulting engineers and contractors and support the delivery of projects for existing national customer accounts managed from the Lincoln HQ.
