Alex Ferguson, James Harris and Alan Crossfield will be competing against 308 other relay teams at the charity event being held at Eton on July 9th, co-sponsored by Property Week. The race includes a 750m swim, 20km bike ride and 5km run around Dorney Lake at Eton.
Delta-Simons is raising money for the official event charities through the 1760 Appeal. The Children’s Charity is the UK’s leading centre for children with multiple disabilities and in particular, children with acquired brain injury, and Orchid is the only UK charity to focus entirely on the three uniquely male cancers; prostate, penile and testicular cancer and has been running since 1996.
Alex Ferguson, Director at Delta-Simons is looking forward to competing in the event;
“As well as helping us all get in shape for the summer, the Triathlon is an extremely worthwhile event bringing property professionals together and supporting two great charities. This is the first year we have competed and we are all really looking forward to it, I just need to keep up my training to be able to squeeze into my wet suit on the day.”
Training so far has included lunchtime runs, after work swims and jogging to and from the photocopier. If you would like to sponsor the team for this event please go to http://www.justgiving.com/deltasimons.
