Leading Environmental Consultancy adds to its carbon offsetting portfolio.
Delta-Simons environmental consultants have agreed a special partnership with the Woodland Trust which allows them to offer the Trust’s carbon offset product Carbonplus+ to their own customers.
The Lincoln-based consultancy’s ground-breaking relationship with the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity means that it can provide an offset mechanism for clients that specifically want to offset their carbon emissions by planting trees in the UK.
Gareth Pickles, Managing Director, Delta-Simons explains, “We are absolutely delighted to have established this relationship with the Woodland Trust. Through this relationship we can provide our customers, and a wider corporate audience, the UK tree planting carbon offsetting route they want, whilst at the same time being able to give them the confidence about the quality of the scheme and permanence of the new woodland – after all, planting new trees and looking after existing stock is what the Trust is all about.
“The Woodland Trust’s Carbonplus+ product is a great solution for companies who are working hard to reduce their carbon footprint, and is probably the most ecologically friendly way to offset carbon as it creates habitat and conservation space at the same time.”
